The Gamma4 Trochanteric Nail is a hip fracture solution for treatment of fractures in the intracapsular, trochanteric, subtrochanteric and shaft regions of the femur (including osteoporotic and osteopenic bone).
Pre-inserted and cannulated set screw
SOMA designed1
Length dependent Radius of curvature (RoC) Long Nails. 75-1.351
Chamfered distal tip
Shortened proximal body by 5mm compared to Gamma3
Wide distal diameter range: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 15mm
Precision Pin™ 3.9mm, has a drill tip with 5mm threads
Measure to the tip of Precision Pin™
The Precision Pin™ with its larger diameter reduces the likelihood of deflection/skiving by 66% compared to a standard k-wire1
The reduced pin deflection facilitates lag screw placement centrally through the nail according to the pre-planned trajectory, decreasing the risk of implant notching due a deflected pin2
We have a streamlined portfolio where we utilize the existing IMN Basic set
All nails have a dedicated distal targeting device
Reduced inventory
Lag Screw measurement off Precision Sleeve™
Single Lag Screw Driver
When rotational stability and fixation performance is desired, the RC Lag Screw may be used4
Consists of three parts: RC Lag Screw, U-blade and U-blade end cap
When assembled, the width of the tip increases to 12.5mm instead of 10mm due to the spread of the U-blade
Designed to provide stability in rotationally unstable femoral neck fragments
Provides temporary fixation of the femoral head during reaming and Lag Screw insertion
