Mentorship programs

A unique education opportunity for fellowship level surgeons, to facilitate and support their transition into full-time practice by building connections with the experienced surgeon community.

These one-year mentorship programs will be offered in the specialities of trauma, foot and ankle, and upper extremities in 2023.

Training facilities

Amsterdam Skills Centre

Stryker is a proud partner of the Amsterdam Skills Center, together with the Amsterdam University Medical Center (AUMC). The ASC opened in February 2019, and provides a state-of-the-art operating theatre with 12 operating tables for training of complex procedures on preserved human tissue. A digital learning environment is also supported in the 3700m2 building, which has conference rooms for up to 200 people.

TEACH Lab Augsburg

The TEACH Lab Augsburg opened in 2013 as a dedicated training and education centre for Stryker (previously Wright Medical), centrally located in Augsburg, close to the Munich airport. The facility contains a main lab space of 117m2 and lecture space of 72m2.

The 6 workstations plus master station are ideal for intimate hands-on courses up to 25 surgeons.

Partnerships

OTC

The Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care Foundation (OTCF) is an interactive global network of surgeons and scientists, dedicated to the advancement of evidence based osteosynthesis and trauma care through education, research and professional networking.

The OTCF is a non-profit Swiss foundation with 19 independent chapters located around the world. All local OTC chapters organize courses to improve trauma care with surgeons of different experience.

OTC educates surgeons through worldwide CME accredited courses & events, symposia, forums and fellowships. They support research with grants, publications and symposia through knowledge sharing and wisdom.
OTC membership is managed by the respective OTC chapters. Interested surgeons are invited to register directly with the OTC Foundation through the global web platform. For further information, please visit the OTCF website.
